Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange, has listed around 16 Dubai-based job openings in its careers page, both onsite and remote opportunities.
The openings are for posts in engineering, HR and product design, among others.
Binance has been in negotiations with UAE financial authorities as it consider establishing the exchange’s global HQ in the UAE, most likely in Dubai.
Binance Executives have been in talks with officials from special economic zones Abu Dhabi Global Market, Dubai International Financial Centre, and Dubai Multi Commodities Centre about a potential move.
Earlier on Tuesday Binance signed a cooperation deal with Dubai World Trade Centre Authority, which aims to set up a global virtual asset ecosystem.
DWTC said on Monday that it will become a crypto zone and regulator for cryptocurrencies and other virtual assets, as the United Arab Emirates seeks to attract new business amid regional competition.
Binance said in a statement that it intends to assist the development of virtual asset regulations in Dubai.
