Discover the Out of Africa NFT artworks
Out of Africa is a collection of 118 NFT representations of physical artworks from the top Southern-African artists. Each digital asset is linked to the physical work of art itself. As a result, the NFTs serve as a certificate of ownership for the real-life masterpieces. These digital assets are referred to as Original Artwork NFTs (O-NFTs).
Basically, Out of Africa is a bridge connecting the physical and digital art worlds in a fascinating blend of color. This innovative project proves that we can now enjoy artworks in all forms – all through the power of non-fungible tokens.
With the Out of Africa project, everybody can engage with the art market too via Poster NFTs – so let’s find out more!
O-NFTs and P-NFTs: minting, value, and purpose
The O-NFT collection, consisting of physical artwork-backed NFTs, will be available via Dutch auctions. Accordingly, the auctions will begin in February 2022. Until then, though, you can take part in an exclusive lottery to win exclusive Poster NFTs!
In essence, the team aims to release 1,770 Poster NFTs (P-NFTs) 15 for each of the 118 original artworks of the collection. Most of these digital assets will go to community members through a digital lottery. Notably, the team will also offer P-NFTs for marketing initiatives – and they’re incredibly valuable.
To begin with, 10% of all project revenues will go to the Community Treasury. Project admins will use such funds to grow P-NFTs floor prices through a buy-and-burn method.
Secondly, P-NFTs allow art enthusiasts to join the market in innovative, affordable ways. Considering the recent NFT market boom, owning traditional art masterpieces in digital format is definitely a clever investment.
In summary, the Out of Africa NFT collection will erase the gap between physical and digital artworks. Thanks to this valuable project, we can now enjoy art in all forms and that is part of its long-term value!
